Labrador Iron Mines is the leader in the revitalization of the iron ore industry in the Schefferville/Menihek region. Our commitment is to enhance shareholder value by developing direct shipping iron ore projects in the iron-rich Labrador trough of western Labrador and northeastern Quebec. Our primary business is to develop and commercially mine iron ore deposits located in the Schefferville area.
Our vision is to efficiently develop and operate direct shipping iron ore in Canada and to produce quality iron ore products in a safe, profitable and socially responsible manner.
